  Celebrating 25 Years

The Shul was created to meet the crucial need that a warm, accessible and user-friendly synagogue
plays in the healthy development of both family and community.

By conducting joyful and exuberant, easy to follow services that include relevant and topical running
commentary and sermons, concurrently with children's programming,
the Family Shul has become one of the fastest growing synagogues in N.J.

An average Shabbat now sees nearly 150 children, women and men both in the services and in related programming.
A modern Shul with cherished traditional values, in a nonjudgmental, friendly and inclusive atmosphere. Come and see how
our wide range of family-oriented activities and warm and welcoming environment are bringing families together.

The goal of Lubavitch on the Palisades is to encourage and provide a means for Jews of all backgrounds to learn and rekindle a link to their Jewish heritage.

This is accomplished through extensive outreach to the Jewish community of Northeast Bergen County with programs such as adult education lectures, including JLI (Jewish Learning Institute) courses on Kabbalah/Mysticism, Talmud, Tanya, and the weekly Torah portion.

Other ongoing programs include: Breakfast Club, Israeli Club, Community Outreach, Crisis Counseling, Full Service Synagogue and Daily Prayer Services, Holiday Celebrations, Hospital and Nursing Home Visits, Judaica Services, kashering Homes, Men’s and Women’s Mikvaot (Ritual Baths), Mezuzah Checks, One-on-One Studies, Pesach Seders, Shabbatons, Chesed Committee, and Chabad Women’s Circle.

We provide extensive children’s programming including a DayCare, Preschool, Elementary and Middle School, Early and After School Programs, Camp Gan Israel Summer Program, Hebrew School, Bar/Bat Mitzvah Club, Bar/Bat Mitzvah Lessons, Junior Congregation, and Teen770 Community Service and Club.
