The October 7th massacre and the wave of events that followed have cemented the truth in plain view around the world: we cannot afford to take another Jewish generation for granted. Am Yisrael is facing a global battle for the Jewish Spirit. The brutality of the terrorists unleashed a flood of antisemitism emboldened to show itself in broad daylight. Jewish communities must answer in kind. We must continue to insist upon thriving in the face of adversity - now! Today!
In order to do so, we must recognize that every Jew and every Jewish community stands on the Front Lines together. When we strengthen our individual communities, we strengthen our brothers and sisters around the world as a collective force, united on behalf of one another.
Eretz Yisrael isn’t going anywhere. The battlefield of our generation is the home front - college campuses, where university officials can’t quite condemn student demonstrations calling for genocide; grade schools, where children are taught to question tradition and religion is taboo; on social media, where hatred gains momentum when left unchecked; on news channels, podcasts, and publications, where Israel is condemned for fighting for its right to exist.
The battle is taking place all around us, which means fortification is critical.
