In this presentation Rabbi Welton shares insights from the Tanya for how to raise children who are happy, healthy and productive.

Drawing from over a decade of experience working as a classroom teacher, vice principal, youth director, and comedian for children, Rabbi Welton will share with you tips and mindsets for interacting with your child in meaningful ways.

- The importance of empathy in understanding and responding to children

- Using the power of free choice to develop a positive self-image in children

- The importance of play and expressing your “inner child”

- Specific strategies for nurturing self-discipline, responsibility, caring, hope, and resilience in our children.

- These lessons from the Tanya also highlight what adults can do for themselves to lead more satisfying, meaningful, resilient lives.
