 EARLY DROP OFF/EXTENDED CARE 2012-2013

Dear Parents,

We are excited to announce that for the 2012/2013 school year, we will be continuing our Early Drop Off, Extended Care and Enrichment Programs.

The Extended Care Program for children in Toddlers and Transitional Nursery will run from Monday-Thursday 12:30pm – 3:00pm as follows:

Toddlers: 12:30 pm – 3:00 pm     Pickup times: 1:45 pm or 3:00 pm

Transitional Nursery: 1:45-3:00 pm.

Snack, Storytime, Play and Art will be provided in a relaxed and warm setting for all children in the Extended Care program.. 

The Enrichment Program for children in Nursery will run from Monday-Thursday 1:45pm – 3:00pm as follows:

Nursery: 1:45pm – 3:00 pm

The after school Enrichment Program will provide opportunities for Nursery students to pursue their interests and talents in various areas in a warm and supportive environment. The classes were chosen with the ages of the children in mind. At this time registration for Enrichment is for the full four days and not a class by class basis.

Enrichment Program for children in Nursery

Each day will offer a class, snack and free play.

Monday: Yoga. Max 20 children

Morah Allison Rabonowitz will guide your children to discover their mind and body in a fun filled way.  Poses and stretching exercises will promote felxibility, coordination and body awareness.  

Tuesday: Little Maestros. Max 20 children 

Morah Ronit Wenger will encourage your child’s inner musical talents through an exciting introduction to rhythm and music.  Using maracas, drums, tambourines and a host of other instruments your child will explore musical self-expression.

Wednesday:  Shake, Rattle and Roll. Max 20 children

Morah Allison Rabinowitz will lead a challenging and exciting program where children stretch, dance and exercise, all to a musical accompaniment.  Start helping encourage healthy living habits and introduce a fun age-appropriate exercise program into your child's regimen. 

Thursday: Fitness and Sports. Max 20 children

This fitness class will consist of various jumps, running techniques and fun "animal movements" that will leave the children sweating and smiling. The classes will focus on enhancing coordination, flexibility and self-confidence. Through sports activities children will learn teamwork and good sportsmanship.
Certified as a Personal Trainer, Morah Jennie Mohl has experience teaching Fitness classes to both children and adults. Jennie has been a Sports Instructor at Camp Regesh for three years and coaches soccer and basketball in the local community. 

 Availability of all programs will depend on the number of children that register and on a first come first serve basis.
